Privacy Policy

GetLicensedTX is operated by Nine North Solutions LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as GetLicensedTX ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use www.getlicensedtx.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account and sign-up details: your name, email address, and the exam you are studying for when you register, take the free timed practice test, request the exam-day checklist, sign up for the question of the day, or contact us about partnerships (including optional notes such as agency name and volume).
- Sign-in: we use emailed sign-in links (no passwords). We store one-time tokens and a session cookie to keep you signed in.
- Purchases: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your email, Stripe customer and payment identifiers, plan, and payment status. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Study activity: practice answers, quiz results, and progress, some of which is stored in your browser (local storage), and questions you send to our AI Study Tutor.
- Exam results you share: if you tell us whether you passed, we store your email, result, exam date, first name, any quote, and whether you allow us to share it.
- Usage and device data: pages viewed, referring links and campaign parameters, browser and device type, IP address, and cookies or similar identifiers.
How we use information
- To provide the Site, your account, paid access, and the AI Study Tutor.
- To send transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts, access confirmation) and study emails such as a welcome series and question of the day. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To measure and improve the Site and our advertising.
- To prevent fraud and abuse and to comply with law.
Service providers we share with
We share information only with providers that help us run the Site, including:
- Vercel (hosting and privacy-friendly site analytics)
- Neon (database)
- Stripe (payments)
- Resend (email delivery)
- AI model providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic (to answer questions you send to the AI Study Tutor)
- Meta (Meta Pixel and Conversions API) and Google (Google Ads tag) for advertising measurement. When we send sign-up or purchase events to these platforms, contact details are hashed before sending.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Our use of advertising pixels may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you can opt out as described below. We may disclose information if required by law or as part of a business transfer.
Cookies and advertising choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use your browser's Global Privacy Control signal, and manage ad preferences in your Meta and Google account settings. Blocking cookies may sign you out.
Retention
We keep account, lead, and purchase records while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes, then delete or de-identify them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including California), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and opt out of sharing for targeted advertising. Email hello@getlicensedtx.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Children
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service is perfectly secure.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the effective date above when we do.
